Volvo Power Train Axle Assembly Axle Shaft Seal

Our 2001 S80 2.9 has twice lost all battery power to the car, just after turning off the ignition key. The time between occurrence is within 2 weeks.  It has dumped the time on the clock, no power to anything, as if the battery had been removed.

Happened whilst on a motorway.

Very serious safety issue.

I've replaced the power steering pump however the car is still hard to turn, they wont inspect it.
