Have a 1996 Mercury Cougar and the steering shakes either brakes applied or not.I have changed rotors and had them turned , new tires, new brakes,alignment and nothing seems to mater. At the first part of use of vehicle it does better but it sure I tested drove it fine./ They tryied some differernt rims that bount something up so could not do it, They went back to original conf but wonder if if or iginal attempt put torque and thus misaligned something like drum, discs or ABS/ Of course i am having a thumping sound from my left rear new tire and i noticed that i can't release air at all like the other tires, and this one tire is hard as rock, is it still safe to drive to shop I have a 1995 Mecury Grand marquis GL..I notice my vin number has alot of recalls. I was driving down the road and all my dash lights went out as well as radio,A/C after I bought a new lighter for my GPS cause the old one seem to blow the fuse.
