| FUEL SENDING UNIT REACTS TO CHEMICAL ADDITIVES OVER TIMES AND FAILS. THIS CAUSES GAS GUAGE TO READ IMPORPERLY OR NOT AT ALL. THIS ALSO CAUSES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO APPEAR. NEW SENDING UNIT NEEDED AND REMOVAL OF GAS TANK NECESARY TO REPLACE UNIT. QUOTED AT 500 DOLLARS TO REPLACE THE 36 DOLLAR PART.*AK | |
