Sept 2011, My Dodge Dakota 2008, with 34,500 mi of local driving droped the left tie rod off the ball joint. I just pulled into a parking lot when it let go. Had I been driving down the road the front of the truck would have been on the pa Dodge 9 seater van, the power steering went out, followed by the brakes, about half way down the mountain, going in second gear. It started up again immediately but then after a few minutes, the p/s went out and brakes again. Got it into parking l 2008 dodge caliper the parking lights do not shut off. 1st time I had this problem. Will the lights eventually shut off and will it drain the battery.
