I have a 2000 2500 Suburban.  Both rear frame horns failed.  The frame only has surface rust.  Fortunately I found it before I was on the road with heavy traler.  There is a 2 inch diameter hole in the frame right at the fulcrum of the factory

The frame on my 2001 K2500 Suburban has also broken, right in front of the trailer hitch.  This happened about 5 years ago and I thought it was just a fluke but it seem others are breaking too!!!

This is going to kill somebody!!!
