2010 Fusion with less than 5K miles had brakes that squeaked at low speed braking. Dealer mechanic heard the problem and inspected brakes(all four) measure and cleaned all four brake rotors. Problem solved for one week only and same problem has returned not. Car has 5150 miles only. Called dealer and said unless it makes noise all the time there is no problem and they will check again next oil change. Is this normal?

Dear Sirs,

This letter

I have a 1996 F250 with the 5.8 EFI V8 that just developed an idle problem. After initial start up the engine runs smooth for about 5 seconds then goes into a loping condition. So I started to check vacuum lines and connections for problems and fo

Is there an easy way to release an emergency brake that is binding on a 1997 Ford Club Wagon (E150)?

My brakes went to the floor after pulling when I stopped a couple of times and there's a weird almost burning smell. Is it the calipers? It's a 1994 ford escort lx wagon.

I suggest you get the gimmicks out of it. As Jack Webb said so many years ago "Just the facts, ma'am."

Today my ABS light came on of my '95 Ford Taurus. After I turned off the enigine and started it up again, it did not light up. Just the fact that it has lit up worries me that there must be a problem here. I checked the brake fluid reservoir, but

I have a 2008 Ford Edge with 67000 miles on it when it started making a grinding sound in the driver's rear side. Brought it to the dealer thinking it needed brakes and was told nothing was wrong. I now see there is a problem with keeping the emer

2002 mustang convertible. Loud Squealing noise when braking in reverse. Only when brakes are cold and/or wet.

You have calipers that are sticking. I bet your old pads were not worn evenly across their surface .Replace both calipers. I hope you turned your rotors too. That is the way you do a correct brake job.
